Nigerian consulate in Grand Prairie
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Grand Prairie, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in Atlanta is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Grand Prairie
It makes no difference which office is nearest: Texas is assigned to Atlanta and a file lodged elsewhere does not transfer.
Allow 14 h 41 min for the 807 miles between Grand Prairie and Atlanta.
Other Texas places in the same position: Houston (811 mi), Spring (812 mi), Arlington (814 mi).
From Grand Prairie, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- A visa application, begun online and finished at a private centre in Houston
- Dual citizenship rules, worth reading before you take the US oath, not after
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
