Nigerian consulate in Erie
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Erie, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Erie
Nigeria divides the country by state, and Pennsylvania goes to New York. That rule outranks the mileage.
The real figure is 436 miles and 8 h 19 min. Among the 6 places listed in Pennsylvania, Erie ranks 6.
Other Pennsylvania places in the same position: Upper Darby (104 mi), Harrisburg (174 mi), Pittsburgh (375 mi).
From Erie, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- Nigerian visas, lodged at an external centre, never at a consulate
- Birth certificate, issued in Nigeria by the National Population Commission
- Consular registration, a form that costs nothing and takes minutes
