Nigerian consulate in Allentown
Allentown has no Nigerian consular office of its own. Its file belongs to the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York.
Which consulate covers Allentown
What decides this is the state line, not the map. Pennsylvania belongs to New York and there is no choosing another office.
It is 93 miles from Allentown, roughly 2 h 5 min, so it pays to bundle errands into one trip.
Also handled from New York, elsewhere in Pennsylvania: Upper Darby (104 mi), Harrisburg (174 mi), Pittsburgh (375 mi).
From Allentown, without travelling
None of this needs a journey:
- Passport renewal, started on a website, with the counter only as the last step
- Police clearance certificate, requested from the Nigeria Police Force, never from a consulate
- Birth certificate, issued in Nigeria by the National Population Commission
