Which consulate covers Lafayette
Nigeria divides the country by state, and Louisiana goes to Atlanta. That rule outranks the mileage.
The real figure is 597 miles and 11 h 2 min. Among the 4 places listed in Louisiana, Lafayette ranks 3.
Same office, same state: New Orleans (486 mi), Baton Rouge (544 mi), Shreveport (608 mi).
From Lafayette, without travelling
What happens online happens the same from anywhere:
- Nigerian visas, lodged at an external centre, never at a consulate
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
- Police clearance certificate, requested from the Nigeria Police Force, never from a consulate
