Nigerian consulate in Evansville
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Evansville, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Evansville
Nigeria divides the country by state, and Indiana goes to New York. That rule outranks the mileage.
Evansville to New York is 862 miles and about 16 h 50 min at the wheel, which puts it 5th of the 5 places this site lists in Indiana.
Other Indiana places in the same position: Indianapolis (715 mi), Bloomington (764 mi), Fort Wayne (650 mi).
From Evansville, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- Nigerian visas, lodged at an external centre, never at a consulate
- Birth certificate, issued in Nigeria by the National Population Commission
- Consular registration, a form that costs nothing and takes minutes
