Nigerian consulate in Chattanooga
There is no Nigerian consulate in Chattanooga. The office that covers the city is the Consulate General of Nigeria in Atlanta.
Which consulate covers Chattanooga
Nigeria divides the country by state, and Tennessee goes to Atlanta. That rule outranks the mileage.
It is 115 miles from Chattanooga, roughly 2 h 14 min, so it pays to bundle errands into one trip.
Same office, same state: Nashville (244 mi), Memphis (392 mi), Knoxville (200 mi).
From Chattanooga, without travelling
What happens online happens the same from anywhere:
- Nigerian visas, lodged at an external centre, never at a consulate
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
- Police clearance certificate, requested from the Nigeria Police Force, never from a consulate

We do not book appointments and we do not sell them. Details are checked regularly and can change without notice: confirm with the office before you travel.
