Nigerian consulate in Cincinnati
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Cincinnati, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Cincinnati
It makes no difference which office is nearest: Ohio is assigned to New York and a file lodged elsewhere does not transfer.
Allow 12 h 49 min for the 645 miles between Cincinnati and New York.
Other Ohio places in the same position: Dayton (610 mi), Akron (441 mi), Cleveland (466 mi).
From Cincinnati, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- A visa application, begun online and finished at a private centre in Houston
- Dual citizenship rules, worth reading before you take the US oath, not after
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
