Nigerian consulate in Minneapolis
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Minneapolis, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Minneapolis
It makes no difference which office is nearest: Minnesota is assigned to New York and a file lodged elsewhere does not transfer.
The real figure is 1,203 miles and 22 h 28 min. Among the 4 places listed in Minnesota, Minneapolis ranks 3.
Other Minnesota places in the same position: Brooklyn Park (1,213 mi), Rochester (1,141 mi), Saint Paul (1,193 mi).
From Minneapolis, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- A visa application, begun online and finished at a private centre in Houston
- Dual citizenship rules, worth reading before you take the US oath, not after
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
