Nigerian consulate in Lowell
Nigeria keeps no consulate in Lowell, and the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York is where the paperwork goes.
Which consulate covers Lowell
It makes no difference which office is nearest: Massachusetts is assigned to New York and a file lodged elsewhere does not transfer.
Allow 4 h 36 min for the 213 miles between Lowell and New York.
Other Massachusetts places in the same position: Boston (210 mi), Brockton (214 mi), Springfield (137 mi).
From Lowell, without travelling
Start with what can be settled from home:
- A visa application, begun online and finished at a private centre in Houston
- Dual citizenship rules, worth reading before you take the US oath, not after
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
