Nigerian consulate in Lewiston
Lewiston has no Nigerian consular office of its own. Its file belongs to the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York.
Which consulate covers Lewiston
It makes no difference which office is nearest: Maine is assigned to New York and a file lodged elsewhere does not transfer.
Lewiston to New York is 341 miles and about 7 h at the wheel, which puts it 2th of the 3 places this site lists in Maine.
Also handled from New York, elsewhere in Maine: Bangor (438 mi), Portland (309 mi).
From Lewiston, without travelling
None of this needs a journey:
- A visa application, begun online and finished at a private centre in Houston
- Police clearance certificate, requested from the Nigeria Police Force, never from a consulate
- Birth certificate, issued in Nigeria by the National Population Commission

We do not book appointments and we do not sell them. Details are checked regularly and can change without notice: confirm with the office before you travel.
