Nigerian consulate in Bridgeport
There is no Nigerian consulate in Bridgeport. The office that covers the city is the Consulate General of Nigeria in New York.
Which consulate covers Bridgeport
Nigeria divides the country by state, and Connecticut goes to New York. That rule outranks the mileage.
Allow 1 h 25 min for the 57 miles between Bridgeport and New York.
Same office, same state: Waterbury (87 mi), Hartford (110 mi), Stamford (36 mi).
From Bridgeport, without travelling
What happens online happens the same from anywhere:
- Nigerian visas, lodged at an external centre, never at a consulate
- National Identification Number, issued by the NIMC and needed before any passport application
- Police clearance certificate, requested from the Nigeria Police Force, never from a consulate

We do not book appointments and we do not sell them. Details are checked regularly and can change without notice: confirm with the office before you travel.
